Film Greenhouse: Filmmaking Incubator

Ages 13-19

Film Greenhouse is a film creation incubator where young people aged 13 to 19 take part in workshops and mentoring in script writing, filmmaking and Directing. We are excited to announce that, due to the generous support of the Launceston City Council and Interweave Art, the 2017 Incubator will be in Launceston.

During Film Greenhouse Participants apply the skills that they learnt producing two original films that will be screened at REMADE 2017 and Transistor Youth Film Festival 2018. After this the films will be submitted into various festivals Nationally and Overseas as well as streamed on Transistor Youth Arts Website and YouTube Channel.

Participants will take part in a Writing Master-class on Sunday, September 24 and write their own short film script. Two scripts will be chosen for production.

The participants will then meet during the first week of the school holidays and participate in a Directors Master Class, a camera master class and then apply the skills they have learnt during the film shoot.
