The Memes was launched on Thursday October 5 to an audience of 95 appreciative and responsive audiences. The audience laughed and cheered after each episode heartening members of the Transistor team who had worked so hard to make the series come to life.

The event also marked the launch of the crew’s Pozible campaigns for the 5 short films they have been developing all year. To watch the first episode of the Memes visit: https://youtu.be/IKwN4ec_EAk

A special shout out goes to Andrew McPhail from Screen Tasmania – it was wonderful to have his presence there and showed the students that the Industry is interested in what they are doing. Also, thanks to Brad Harris for the great photos.

Thanks to Salamanca Arts Centre, Youth ARC and the University of Tasmania for supporting Transistor Film and the creation of the Memes.
